Sports Lighting and Scoreboard Installation in Colorado
Colorado is home base for RMES. Our office is in Littleton, and the largest share of our completed sports lighting work is here — high school stadiums, municipal parks, pickleball complexes, and an equestrian center, from the Front Range to the Western Slope.

What our Colorado work looks like
Much of our Colorado record is school work: football stadiums and athletic fields for districts and charter schools in Commerce City, Parker, Westminster, Windsor, Colorado Springs, and Durango. Those projects get scheduled around the activity calendar so fields stay usable through the season.
The rest is public recreation — Front Range parks departments and recreation districts lighting ballfields, multi-field complexes, and the pickleball courts that have been added across the metro area — plus an equestrian arena in Douglas County and the fairgrounds fields in Eagle.

Questions we work through on Colorado projects
- Is this a retrofit of existing poles or a new installation?
- Many Colorado parks and campuses have older lighting on existing poles. We review the poles, foundations, and electrical service on the first site walk before recommending re-use or replacement.
- When does the field need to be back in play?
- For school stadiums we work back from the first home game; for parks we coordinate with league and rental schedules so only the fields under construction go offline.
- Should a scoreboard be part of the same scope?
- If trenching and conduit are already happening for lighting, adding scoreboard power and controls at the same time is usually the least disruptive option.
